About the station

An independent talk platform from Orkney to the world

Freedom Talk Radio was built to give people a place to speak plainly about experiences and issues that mainstream outlets often pass over.

The station is run by Andy Peacher from Kirkwall, Orkney, broadcasting online to listeners across the UK and around the world. It is a talk-first platform: interviews, discussion and long-form conversation rather than playlists.

Much of the schedule is guest-led. Whistleblowers, campaigners, abuse survivors, authors, researchers and specialists come on to describe what they have seen or worked on, in their own words. The aim is a fair, unhurried conversation — respectful in tone, direct in substance.

Alongside the live stream, episodes are published as podcasts so listeners can catch up at any time. Everything is produced independently, funded by listener support rather than commercial sponsorship.

If you would like to take part, the guest enquiry page is the fastest way to reach us.

How we approach conversations

Openness

Guests are given time to explain their position properly rather than being squeezed into a soundbite.

Truthfulness

Conversations are framed honestly, with claims presented as the speaker's own account and experience.

Transparency

No hidden agenda and no editorial line dictated by advertisers or a parent network.

Views expressed by guests are their own. Freedom Talk Radio provides a platform for discussion and does not offer medical, legal or financial advice.
